Spent the last couple days under the bus. I found these sweet threaded rod self tapping anchors at Menards. I welded up the black tank frame, ground the welds down, and painted it in several coats of left over rustoleum spray paint. I also used rust converter spray on the frame and then used several cans of underbody coating to re-seal the plywood underside.
